I may decide to do phase one for 3 days at the start of every month just to shake things up. We're starting to get busy with the end of school year stuff. Pioneer club finishes next week and there are end of year projects and programs at school.

Back to the routine. I'm pretty sore and so I really took it easy today during my workout. No point in getting myself injured. Then I couldn't workout at all! Did good sticking to phase one. I am extremely tired and really just want to sleep. The kids made it off to school. I think they're ready for the rain to stop. I still like it. :o)

Attitude:
Ok, so I didn't get to blogging this weekend. It was a SUPER FUN weekend with just the right mix of activities, relaxation time and visiting. I took a small break from following the eating plan. I didn't "blow" it either. Somewhere in the middle. So when I weighed in this morning, I was 2.2lbs heavier than I was on Friday. I'm actually glad to find out I can splurge for a while and then get back on track. Because of a challenge I belong to I've put myself back on phase one of the eating plan until a week is up or I lose the 2.2lbs whichever comes 1st. I need to be at least 239 by Friday morning or I'm out of the challenge. I know I can do it. We took a hike this weekend that has killed my legs. It was a great time, but we took the 3 mile loop and at one point, the trails were no longer marked. After a while (and the kiddos losing heart that we'd EVER be done with the hike) we decided to turn around the way we had come. There is a much longer version of our grand adventure in the woods, but in the end after 4 hours and probably more than 3 miles of steep inclines and declines, we made it back safe and sound and HUNGRY!!! :o) All in all a wonderful weekend!

Just spent the day getting ready for Memorial day weekend. We're all a little bummed that our friend won't go with us. HHT tried to convince him, but I don't think it worked. Ah, well the fun must go on! :o) We attended EB's spring program. She was so nervous she was in tears...before and after the program, but not during and that's what counts. Worked out and I will workout again tomorrow so that I don't miss a day. If I don't get a chance to blog this weekend...Have a great weekend everyone! Although I promise I will try to blog!

Attitude:
Ran a couple of errands now that the van is out of the shop. I picked up another piece of my Mikasa Whole Wheat dish set that I bought on eBay from a local seller. It was the gravy boat and under plate. He was so generous that he gave me another gravy boat free because it had a slight chip in it and he couldn't sell it. I know it doesn't sound too exciting to some, but when you are hunting down retired china patterns and you find one at a good price, you feel like the mighty hunter! LOL Then S and I went out to lunch with HHT. I tried a new salad at Applebees and it was tasty, spinach salad w/shrimp. That's about the extent of my exciting day. I'm working on drinking more water again. I got out of my habit when I started drinking Arizona tea sweetened w/splenda and the 2 just aren't the same. I've noticed without my water intake, I feel queasy and sluggish, so back to water tomorrow! Someone I hadn't seen in a while commented on how I've lost quite a bit of weight. That was super sweet. It is nice to know when others notice, because by seeing myself every day, I do not notice. I recommend everyone trying to lose weight take pictures monthly so you can see your progress. I do know how I feel and I feel more energetic and my clothes do fit better...I'm even getting into some that I couldn't wear last summer!

Ok, the weekend caught up to me scalewise! LOL No concerns here, I know what I did and what I can do to help it continue down again. And it is still a 2lb loss for the week which is great overall. I couldn't sleep well last night. My allergies are just bugging me in strange ways this year. No sneezing, just a dry, cracky throat at night and in the morning. I wake up dry coughing with a tickle. At least allergies for me are short lived. My poor kids have them every season, I think!

WOOHOO a double good day! I've made it into the 230s and when I worked out at Curves today, I was the Biggest Loser from Feb to Apr. Go Me! :o) HHT worked on the shed all day. B, ET, and EB went to Nana's to help around her house and I cleaned up from last night. After HHT was done for the evening, I took B to get her nintendo DS and then HHT and I watched the Vicar of Dibley. A stupendous day!!

Yeah, I found the magic number at which the reading at the place where I make my graphs no longer says that I'm morbidly obese. I've moved down into the severely obese. Neither sounds pleasant, I know, but at least it's moving in the right direction! I had the BEST fish I have ever tasted today. And I ate way too much of it, but I'm not beating myself up about that, because sometimes it really is worth it and this was one of those times. Our friend caught and then dipped the halibut into some type of batter that was just plain GREAT!!!! Oh, man, like melt in your mouth great. We made chipotle burgers and they were tasty, too. We even have some for leftovers tomorrow, so I won't have to cook in this insane heat!

Was quite busy. B had an ortho appt. today which HHT took her to. I went to the eye doctor and HHT met me there to do the old baby switcheroo so he could get to work. I've ordered new glasses. How exciting, I know. LOL Worked out a little earlier than usual as mom couldn't go with me and HHT wanted to drive me (my eyes were quite dilated). It was already 80 degrees outside and the air conditioner wasn't on at Curves. HOT!!! Oh, well, I just sweat extra, right? Attended the Relay for Life meeting last night. Quite interesting. Get a group of people together with differing backgrounds and ideas and you get an interesting meeting. :o) Reminded me of organized church a whole lot. Picked up some more yarn at wally world (walmart) for the hats I'm making. I needed some fun summer colors. My allergies have kicked in full swing. Gotta love the scratchy throat and waking up with dry coughing! At least I only have them once a year and even then for not too long. That's all the excitement I'll put you through today. Gearing up for another HOT day tomorrow!

HHT came home early today. Even though he was working, it was still nice to have him here. We did take S to the park for 1/2 hour. Getting ready for super hot days coming up. LOL I haven't been feeling really hungry and nothing sounds good to eat, so I've had to force myself to eat a little something each meal. Yep, you heard that thud of me falling off the blogging wagon again! OUCH!!! Attitude:
Today (May 7) was my birthday. It was great...low key. I received several well wishes via email and phone calls and then was able to go about my day without having to be the center of attention at any shin dig. It was perfect!!!!! I am a little perturbed at not getting a call from my mom, dad or brothers, but oh well, the calls I did get more than made up for that. I had another massage on my legs today and while a couple of doozy knots were found, it wasn't as painful an experience as last week, and the company is entertaining. :o) Dropped the kids off at Pioneer Club and then went grocery shopping. Read with Bekah. Oh and I did indulge in a birthday cookie, but it was worth it all warm and gooey out of the oven. Good thing I only made one a piece so there was no further temptation! LOL Got to go music shopping as my super SIL sent an iTunes gift code. The kids were happy, too because I bought a couple of soundtracks to listen to on the way to Boatnik!

Yes, it may appear to some that I dropped off the face of the earth, but I assure you that is not the case. :o) I've come to the realization that I've been decluttering from the inside out. I first had to work on me and as I started decluttering my personal life (recognizing those that just use me, being able to say no, etc.) I realized that I wanted my house decluttered. I'd like to say that the project is done, but, no not yet. However, just like with the weight loss, a little at a time and it will be done. So, while I'm losing weight, my house is following me and losing weight, too! That's been where I've been...working on the house. But it isn't an excuse to neglect my blogging. I've been keeping to eating right and exercising, so no worries there. :o)
